Which size gutter tongs do you need?
All three are the same tool in different lengths. Stainless steel, XPRT logo engraved, same jaw and grade.

35cm is the one for standard residential gutters and tight roof spaces. Shortest reach, most control, easiest to handle.

45cm is the everyday size and the one most people buy first. Enough reach along gutters and down downpipes without getting unwieldy.

50cm is for deep downpipes and long reach. If you're pulling compacted leaf litter out of a downpipe mouth or working a box gutter, this is the one that reaches.
Buy the 45cm if you're not sure. Buy the 50cm as well if downpipes are a regular part of your work.
What are gutter cleaning tongs actually for?
Cleaning downpipes, mainly. Your hand won't fit down a downpipe (unless your a child, and you shouldn't be getting them to do this anyway), so compacted leaf litter sitting in the top of one is a genuinely awkward thing to shift. The tongs reach where your fingers can't, grab it, and pull it out.
The second job is the gutter run itself. From a ladder you can work a metre or so either side of where you're standing instead of climbing down and shifting the ladder along.
Will they bend?
They can if you really load them up. Stainless steel holds its shape in normal use, and if a pair does splay out you just press them back with your hands. No tools, takes a second.
What does the Grip Clip do?
It's a spring clamp that clamps onto the gutter and holds your hose or tool at the top of the ladder, so the hose isn't hanging off a rung waiting to get kicked. Logo-engraved rubber tips, bungee loop, hog-clip attachment. Load tested independently by LMATS Pty Ltd, results on the test results page.
