HOW TO USE LOUVRE GUN

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

The XPRT Louvre Gun is designed to rinse louvre windows quickly and cleanly using pure water. Here’s how to get perfect results every time.

🔧 Step 1: Set Up and Prepare the Area

•  Attach an 8mm hose to the base of the louvre gun.

•  Check the connection is tight, no leaks.

•  Test water flow away from the work area to check pressure.

•  Place towels or drop sheets under the louvres to catch drips.

💡 Pressure Tip: Hold down the trigger and point the tip upward. If water bubbles gently out the top, you’re good. If it spurts high, the pressure is too strong - turn it down.

.🌊 Pure Water Note: For spotless glass, make sure your TDS meter reads 000 ppm.

⚠️ Initial Burst Warning: Every time you stop the flow, pressure builds up. When restarting, be ready for a quick burst of water.

🧽 Step 2: Wash the Louvres

• Use a wet XPRT Louvre Mop to scrub 3-4 panels at a time.

• Don’t overdo it - too many panels means water dries too fast and leaves cloudy marks.

💦 Step 3: Rinse Properly with the Louvre Gun

•  Start rinsing at the top centre of each blade, working from top to bottom.

•  Slide the nozzle side-to-side, ensuring water flows across the entire glass surface.

•  Leave the louvres slightly open, so they are as vertical as possible (to allow gravity to dry them) but not touching (to allow air flow while they dry).

🧠 Reminders

•  💦 Test the spray before aiming at glass – expect a strong burst.

•  🔁 Small sections = better results – rinse only 3-4 panels at a time.

•  ✨ Rinse thoroughly – for a clean, streak-free finish.

HOW TO USE LOUVRE MOP

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Step 4

The Louvre mop is an purpose-built tool designed to clean louvre windows safely  and efficiently.

🔍 Step 1: Inspect the Pad Before Use

  • Gently run your fingers across the microfiber cleaning pad to check for any grit, sand, or sharp debris.

    • Particles trapped in the fibers can scratch glass, especially on tinted or coated louvres.

    • Replace or clean the pad if it feels rough or visibly dirty.

💧 Step 2: Prepare the Louvre Mop

  • Wet the microfibre pad with clean water before use — a quick dip in a bucket or spray is all it needs.

    • Only add a small amount of detergent if the glass is especially dirty or greasy.

💡 Less soap = less rinsing = cleaner results.

🧼 Step 3: Clean the Louvre Panels

  • Wash 3-4 louvre blades at a time by wiping back and forth several times.

    • Be sure to clean the small blade holders at the ends of each panel.

    • If needed, also wipe down the surrounding window frames.

💡 Work from top to bottom.

🚿 Step 4: Clean the Pad After Use

  • Rinse the microfiber pad thoroughly in water to flush out dirt.

  • To keep your microfiber working at full performance, give it a machine wash occasionally:

    • Peel the pad off the aluminium frame by pulling one end firmly.

    • Wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.

    • ❌ Do not use fabric softeners — they reduce microfiber effectiveness.

    • ✅ Air dry only — avoid tumble drying.

  • Reattaching the microfiber can be tricky because the Velcro grips tightly.

    • Use a folded piece of plastic (e.g. an old loyalty card) to cover the Velcro strip while sliding the pad on.

    • Once aligned, slide the plastic out — the pad will snap into place.

🧠 Reminders

  • ✋ Always check the pad for debris before use

  • 🧴 Use just a little or no detergent to avoid extra rinsing

  • ♻️ Machine wash regularly — no fabric softener

  • ✅ Store dry, and out of direct sun to prolong microfiber life

HOW TO USE XPRT GRIP CLIP

Step 1

ideal ladder angle

Step 2

The XPRT Grip Clip - Long is a quick, no-fuss way to secure your ladder to a gutter and work with confidence.

🪜 Step 1. Position Your Ladder

  • Place your ladder so it rest on the gutter (Safe Work Australia recommends the ladder extends at least 1 meter above the edge of gutter or roof).

  • Ensure the ladder feet are stable and the ladder is at a safe climbing angle (about 75° or 1:4).

🔗 Step 2. Attach the XPRT Grip Clip

  • Climb the ladder and once the front lip of the gutter is in reach, open the spring-loaded clip and close it over the gutter edge which is just outside the ladder.

  • Stretch the elastic cord across to the other side of the ladder. To avoid tripping, wrap the cord once around the ladder rung just above the gutter.

  • Clip the second clamp to the gutter on the other side of the ladder. The built-in tension helps stabilise the ladder and reduce unwanted movement, especially sideways slipping or tipping back.

🧪 Independently lab-tested by LMATS (NATA-accredited) for sideways and outward force. Full results available.

🧼 3. Remove and Store

  • To remove, simply unclip both sides.

  • Clip it to your belt, tool bag, or shirt collar for hands-free carrying, or wear it around your neck using the elastic cord like a lanyard.

🧠 Key Reminders

  • 🧲 Always check clips and cord is in good condition before each use

  • 🔄 Replace the cord if there is visible wear

  • ⚠️ Not designed for use with weak gutters

  • ⚠️ Grip Clip helps reduce movement, but doesn’t replace safe ladder setup or common sense
