Step-by-step guide to lubricating Louvre Gun trigger

1. Remove the cap

The cap is on tight from factory. Use a cloth or pliers for grip. Protect the plastic by wrapping it in the cloth before twisting.

2. Take out the spring and pin

Once the cap is off, remove the spring. If the pin comes with it, great. If not, use long nose pliers to remove the pin.

3. Apply silicone grease

Use plumbing or silicone rubber grease — avoid petroleum-based products like WD-40 or Vaseline.

Apply a thin film to coat the three O-rings on the pin so they’re evenly lubricated.

4. Reassemble

Slide the pin back in, insert the spring, and screw the cap on firmly by hand. Use pliers gently at the end for a snug finish.

5. Test the trigger

Pull and release a few times. It should spring back smoothly and feel like new.

🔧 Tips

🔁  Re-lube occasionally if the trigger starts feeling dry or sticky.

✋ Don’t over-tighten the cap — just firm enough to seal.
