Some Tools Do One Job. Some Do Five.

There are tools in your kit that do one thing.
A fly screen remover removes fly screens.
A squeegee pulls water.
A reel reels hose.
Then there are the small, almost forgettable tools that quietly solve five annoying problems every single day.
The Snap Wrap is in that second category.
And it ends up getting used constantly.
Here’s how window cleaners actually use it.
1. Fastest Way to Set Up a Water Fed Pole

Wrap it around your water fed pole with the hose on the outside.
Done properly, the hose sits tight against the pole. It doesn’t flap as you move the pole. It saves you snagging on tree branches or other obstacles.
You can use multiple wraps along the pole if you want it really clean and tight.
Setup is faster than feeding the hose though the inside of the pole.
Much quicker than velco straps.
The pole feels more controlled.
It’s a small change that makes the whole system feel and look more professional.
2. Holding a Rag on the End of the Pole for Touch Ups

Every window cleaner this.
You see a drip high up. Even the experienced pros need to make touch ups!
So you grab a rag and try to hold it on the end of the pole.
It works for about 5 seconds. Then it falls off.
The Snap Wrap is the solution.
Hold the cloth over the tip, hit the snap wrap around the base of the tip so it holds the rag to the pole. No more re-adjusting or picking up dropped rags.
Better again, just store the Snap Wrap already wrapped on the pole itself. It lives there. Always in the exact place you need it. It weighs almost nothing.
No digging around in the van.
3. Keeping a Small Hose Reel Organised

Velcro works. Until it doesn’t.
It clogs up. It frays. It sticks to everything except what you want it to stick to.
Snap Wrap is cleaner and quicker.
Wrap a small bundle of hose after winding up and it stays put. No unraveling in the van. No tangled knot when you pull it out next job.
Simple system. Faster transitions between jobs.
Minor Uses That Still Matter
These are the little wins that add up over a full day.
Door stop
Those doors that close on lock on you at just the wrong moment - not anymore.
Bucket handle control
Wrap it so your window cleanign bucket handle doesn’t drop flat. Less bending down to lift it every time.
Reaching narrow gaps
Used flat (not rolled) with a cloth over it, it slides into tight spots like narrow Anita window gaps or balustrade mountings.
It’s flexible. Literally.
Why This Matters

Some tools justify their price with big features.
Others justify their place by quietly removing frustration.
The Snap Wrap isn’t dramatic.
It just:
Speeds up setup
Keeps things tidy
Stops small annoyances
Lives on the pole ready to go
Costs very little
It’s one of those tools you don’t think you need until you use it for a week.
Then it just becomes part of the system.
