The Louvre Gun is a purpose-built louvre window cleaning tool for professional window cleaners and serious DIYers. It connects to your standard 8mm water-fed pole tube and rinses each glass blade with pure water for a fast, streak-free finish.

Houses full of louvres used to be the job you dreaded. Scrub, squeegee, detail, repeat, blade after blade. The Louvre Gun cuts all of that out. Scrub the blades, pull the trigger, rinse, and let the glass dry naturally. No squeegeeing, no detailing, no smears.

The thumb trigger gives you instant on/off control over your water, and the trigger lock holds the flow on for long runs so your thumb gets a rest. Supply it from a DI tank or any pure water source and you're rinsing within minutes of arriving on the job.

Key Features:

  • Individually quality tested for reliable, leak-free performance
  • Plug-and-play: connects directly to standard 8mm (outer diameter) pole tube via push-fit fitting
  • Thumb trigger with lock-on for effortless water control
  • Replaceable nozzle tip, sized for standard 6.3mm louvre glass
  • Use pure or low-TDS water for a spot-free, natural-dry finish
  • Designed and made in Sydney by a window cleaner with 25 years on the tools

Louvre windows go by plenty of names. Louvres here in Australia, louvers or jalousie windows in the US (from the French word for jealousy, because they let you see out without opening up, and who wouldn't be jealous of that), slatted windows, glass blade windows, and a pain in the neck. Whatever you call them, this is the tool that makes them quick.

    Such a timesaver!

This tool is such a great innovation for not only rinsing louvre glass panels quicker and without leaving squeegee lines or necessitating a microfiber wipe; but the results are consistently better than any other technique we’ve used to date.

Hot tip: they’re not just for louvres!

Some newer houses have a modern version of the sash window. These frameless sliding windows can be notoriously difficult to wash where the panes overlap and can’t be reached with other tools. Louvre Gun to the rescue!

Legend! I designed it to be the best way to clean louvre windows, no need for pro tricks to get pro results. Glad it’s making the job quicker and easier.

    What a GUN!!

It’s such a great little compact companion. So easy to stash away on a belt or in a pouch. Ive been using it with my portable/backpack waterfed system. Such an easy to use watergun not for play. (but i guess if you could get close enough to someone haha)

Epic work thinking this up love it

    Great tool

Tool works great, however, I swapped out the rigid nozzle for a slotted piece of 12mm OD push fit hose as this works way better for some flexibility with positioning the tool on the edge of the glass, water flow pattern and also allowing easy rinsing on the side of the panel which is often hydrophobic and needs some direct contact. The flexible hose works better for this and doesn't leave marks on the glass as I found the hard plastic did. Perhaps a future variant could include flexible hose

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback, much appreciated. I did test flexible tips early on, but I’ve found the hard tip gives better control and consistency in most situations. I’ve tested it extensively and haven’t had it leave marks on glass in normal use.

Feedback like this is really helpful, and a flexible-tip variant is definitely something I’ll keep in mind for future versions. Thanks again for taking the time to share how you’re using it.
